Antes de ponerme a pintar estas manzanas, que por cierto fue muy difícil mantenerlas en pie y tomar precauciones de echarles jugo de limón para desacelerar su oxidación, pensé que sería muy difícil lograr que se vieran convincentes. Ahora pienso que a pesar que transmiten cierta sensación, debí situar la luz frontalmente en vez de lado posterior, puesto que el cuadro esta en clave media-baja y la sugerencia que decidí tomar en cuenta hace días era la de explorar la clave alta. Parece que tengo que anotarlo en algún lugar visible puesto que los valores bajos me atraen mucho, tal vez se deba también a mi costumbre momentáneamente abandonada de empezar los cuadros con un lavado monocromático de sombra natural o tostada. Sobre el cuadro en cuestión traté de poner colores que estaban incluidos en las propias manzanas pero con distinta temperatura o matiz, para alargar las propiedades de la paleta limitada.
