Desde que empecé a pintar naturaleza muerta en formato pequeño no había pintado el suelo sobrepasando a los elementos principales, aqui quería probar con ese tipo de composición, estoy satisfecho con el resultado, aunque todavía hay cosas por mejorar y definir. Parece que como si la mandarina estuviese ligeramente de lado y es que esta mandarina tenía una forma particular, no sé si lo mencioné en mis anteriores posts pero el verde es uno de mis colores favoritos para pintar. No fue algo fácil, así como el rojo(con el que aún tengo problemas) el verde fue un reto para mi, he llegado a pensar si tiene algo que ver con que son complementarios. Decidí que el foco tenía que recaer en los gajos y los iluminé más que el resto.

Since I started painting still life in small format I had not painted the floor over the main elements, here I wanted to try with that type of composition, I am satisfied with the result, although there are still things to improve and define. It seems as if the tangerine was slightly sideways and is that this tangerine had a particular shape, I do not know if I mentioned in my previous posts but green is one of my favorite colors to paint. I decided that the focus had to fall on the segments and I illuminated them more than the rest.
